A glimpse into creative processes. In the workshop we will have a mini-lab for the creative processes with which I work with the dancers who collaborate with me in my works, we will understand how an idea was born and how to translate it into a movement. How to form movement material and what techniques I work in the process of creating my own works.

About the Artist |

Winner of the Culture Minister Award for Young Artist in Dance for 2012-2013, 2016. Winner of the 2009 Rosenblum Prize for being a promising artist. Graduate of the School of Dance Arts of Kibbutzim College of Education. Holds a B.Ed. And a teaching certificate specializing in composition and movement writing. She has been a vocalist since 2005. She began her career in "Gvanim Bamachol", "Intimadance" and "Ramat Masach". She performs throughout the world with her works and conducts master workshops. Last summer she was invited to create an original work for the AD Dance Festival. Artistic director and choreographer of the "Dafi Altavav Dance Group" together with Nini (Nitzan) Moshe, artistic partner for creativity and life. Dafi Altbab and the group members conduct technical and repertoire workshops for students and professional dancers throughout Israel as well as activities for children on the connection between music and dance. Altavav is supported by the Department of Dance at the Culture Administration, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Tel Aviv Municipality and the Yehoshua Rabinowitz Foundation. She has just begun her new work for eight dancers, which will take place on September 15-16, 2017.
