About the Workshop |

Eyal Dadon teaches and develops his own movement language since 2010, by a combination of improvisation, floor work, and replacing textures dynamically which affect our thoughts while moving.
Dadon was invited to teach companies and dance schools in Israel and around the world: kibbutz contemporary dance company, bddc Moscow, ballet Opera stanislavsky, Jerusalem dance theatre, dance troupe xie xin Shanghai, dance troupe chang Taiwan, University of Arts in Taipei, seminar hakibbutzim, professional training bikurei haettim, gaaton dance workshop and more. Dadon is still investigating ways of connecting the brain to be present and affect our physical selves, what gives people the workshop the ability to learn and acquire tools for comprehending one's uniqueness. The purpose of the workshop is to create a flow line thought that will allow us to change the nature, textures, time and space, while moving through improvisation or material.

About the Artist |

Eyal Dadon, born in Beersheba 1989, finished the dance training track  "Bat Dor" Beersheba with full support scholarships from 'keren  America Israel culture "before starting  his professional dance career with 'kamea’ and " kibbutz contemporary dance company". Eyal won the Yair Shapiro 2014 prize on the contribution to the world dance and companies dance collective, as well as won first in the competition for international choreographers Hannover. Eyal was the winner in Germany 2015  of the award third competition choreography in Jerusalems "Machol Shalem". In 2015 he was chosen to be home choreographer of kibbutz contemporary dance company and created the evening dance  "croissant on fire". After 5 seasons, he was appointed director  kibbutz contemporary dance company, and began his way as the active independent creator and choreographer of the kibbutz contemporary dance company. In the years 2011 to 2016 - created short dance works  and pieces for the company, in addition to a "journey" dance of kibbutz contemporary dance company,  Jerusalem dance theatre, bddc in Moscow, and was invited to create for the xin xie company in Shanghai. Dadon was invited to present his works for the great music festival  "sziget" in Budapest, the silk road international arts festival, the beijing dance festival, the shanghai arts center, and the new beijing dance festival. Eyal was invited to create a  ballet "stanislavsky" Moscow, gartenplatz munich, munich opera, chang dance theater taiwan and more. In addition Dadon created works for  the dance training track 'hamaslool’  in Tel Aviv, under artistic director Naomi Perlov and Ofir Dagan, as well as for KCDC under artistic director Einav Levy and Yaniv Abraham, Seminar hakibbutzit whose artistic director is Talia Paz. In 2016 Dadon established in Beersheba the dance troupe “Sol ", using his movement language with professional dancers, the purpose of the establishment of the company in Beersheba is the development of modern art and dance in the periphery of the Negev, to target  different audiences, and to promote the Beersheba city as a national  international dance area, the company is greatly recognized  around the world and in Israel. Currently, there is construction of a theatre for the SOL Dance Company that will be called “home of dance” in Beersheba, in which Dadon will be the artist director.
