Contemporary technique and repertoire class
A Contemporary dance and Repertoire workshop taught by the awards winner Israeli choreographer Idan cohen.
This class encourages versatility, technical and artistic ability influenced and based on Idan Cohen's unique and acclaimed method of artistic work.
The class offers contemporary technical warm up that focusses on virtuosity and strength, and aims to improve the dancer's physical abilities alertness and performance quality.
The class then naturally leads to a repertoire session of Mr. Cohen’s work.

About the Artist |
Idan Cohen – born 06/06/1978

BA in Choreography( 2014),
MA Dance- Choreography (2016).
Idan Cohen was born and raised in Israel, kibbutz Mizra.
The kibbutz (a socialist community) life has had a wide effect on his artistic life and work.
After being trained as a classical piano player, with scholarship programs and grants for international master workshops from the age of 8 in the Kibbutz, he received a scholarship to study theater and fine arts at the "Art colony", in Israel 's Negev (desert) ,And graduated in excellency.
At the age of 20 he was admitted to a video-dance project by Bat-Sheva dance company dancer Lara Bersak (France) before joined, in 1998 the world known K.C.D.C (founder Yehudit Arnon, artistic director Rami Beer) where he danced for 7 seasons.
Since 2005 he is creating, performing and teaching successfully as an international award winning director & dance artist.
