About the Workshop |
"deep down, Inside the body, lies the soul
No one has ever seen it,
But we all know that it exists ... "(The Soul Bird)
For anyone whose soul bird wishes to move on the wings of imagination
In the workshop we will explore and connect the qualities of dynamic movement to the mysterious term nefesh(soul) - mind - and play with the individual bird in the personal and shared space.
Together we create a multi-dimensional dance that contains transitions - between a structured sequence and improvisation; Between conscious movement and movement to the hidden and unexpected unconscious; Between learning movement sequences and personal interpretation; Between the external space and the personal-inner space; Between the actual movement and the movement in the imagination ...
We discover that the bird of the soul not only prevents drawers of emotion, but moves within us carrying the baggage of the past and at the same time present, revealing possibilities for changes, surprises and developments.
